Free Home Inventory Templates from Wardkeep.ai

Effective date: September 21, 2026

This policy explains what information Wardkeep collects, why, and what you can do about it. It covers wardkeep.ai and the Wardkeep Snap™, Detail™ and Recovery™ apps. Wardkeep is operated by Mark J. Siebert, doing business as Wardkeep, Kansas City, USA.

In short: your home inventory is private. We use it to run the service for you. We don’t sell it, and we don’t share it with insurers or advertisers.

1. What we collect

  • Account details: your name, email address and login information.
  • Your inventory: the rooms, items, descriptions, conditions, purchase details and values you enter or approve.
  • Photos, receipts and voice recordings you upload or record in the apps. Photos can contain location data (EXIF).
  • Payment information: handled by Stripe. We receive your subscription status and the last four digits of your card, never the full number.
  • Usage and device data: pages visited, features used, browser type and approximate location from your IP address. This is collected through cookies and similar tools (see section 5).
  • Emails and messages you send us, and whether you open or click our emails.

2. How we use it

  • To provide Wardkeep: storing your inventory, running Photo Scan and voice editing, and producing exports and claim documents.
  • To handle billing and account email, such as receipts, renewal notices and free-room expiry reminders.
  • To send tips and product news if you’ve signed up for them. You can unsubscribe from any email.
  • To understand how the apps are used so we can improve them, and to measure our advertising.
  • To keep the service secure and prevent fraud or abuse.

3. Photo Scan, voice editing and AI

When you run Photo Scan, the photo you choose is sent to Google’s Gemini API. Gemini identifies the items and suggests replacement values. Voice edits are processed the same way. Google processes this content only to return results to us, under its API terms. AI suggestions are estimates only. Nothing is saved to your inventory until you approve it.

4. Who we share it with

We share information only with the service providers that help run Wardkeep, and only as far as they need it:

  • Supabase: database, file storage and sign-in. Photos are kept in private storage.
  • Famous.ai: the platform the apps are built on and served from.
  • Google: Gemini AI processing, and Google Analytics.
  • Stripe: payments.
  • MailerLite: email.
  • Meta: ad measurement through the Meta pixel, once it’s installed.
  • Our web host: runs wardkeep.ai.

We don’t sell or rent your personal information. We don’t share your inventory with insurers or anyone else unless you choose to send it yourself. We may disclose information if the law requires it, or to protect someone’s safety.

5. Cookies and analytics

We use cookies to keep you signed in. We also use Google Analytics and the Meta pixel to understand how people find and use Wardkeep, and to measure our ads. You can block cookies in your browser settings, or opt out of Google Analytics with Google’s browser add-on. Blocking some cookies may stop parts of the apps from working.

6. How long we keep it

  • Free Detail room: kept 30 days, then locked. Your export stays available. Locked rooms are deleted 90 days later, after an email reminder.
  • Paid accounts: kept while your account is active. Deleted 90 days after cancellation. We’ll email you before deleting anything.
  • Billing records: kept as long as tax law requires.

7. Your choices and rights

You can view, edit and export your inventory at any time. You can ask us to send you a copy of your data, correct it or delete your account. Email info@wardkeep.ai and we’ll respond within 30 days. Depending on where you live (for example, California), you may have additional rights. We’ll honour them, and we won’t treat you differently for using them.

8. Security

Your data is encrypted in transit. Photos are kept in private storage, and each account can only reach its own records. No system is perfectly secure, so keep your password private and export a backup of your inventory.

9. Children

Wardkeep is for adults. We don’t knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.

10. Comments on wardkeep.ai

If you comment on a blog post, we collect the name, email, IP address and browser details you submit to help detect spam, and the comment is kept on the site. If you use Gravatar, your avatar is loaded from Automattic’s service.

11. Changes

If we make a material change to this policy, we’ll email you or post a notice in the app before it takes effect.
